Anyone use Melaleuca products? | ADHD Information

My husband and I used to be Melaluca cust. a long time ago,  before we had kids.

I liked the products. They worked very good, biodegradeable, highly concentrated and if you have allergies they're great.  We bought them for about 3 to 4 years. We never sold them either, I don't like aproaching other people. What I didn't like was, that you had to buy a set dollar amount every month, and since it was only the two of us, and they really are very economic, I didn't have to buy every month. But we had to, it was their policy. One month I forgot to order, and they sent us a "standard" shipment, and took the money without our permission out of our account. I didn't like that at all, that was it for us.

Besides their monthly "have to" buying-policy, I can recommend their products. I sure they have a lot more products now. Like I said, it was a long time ago, our oldest is almost 9 now. I never tried the vitamins, though.

My 4 year old daughter began taking the Melaleuca vitamins for her ADHD since her diagnosis about 2 months ago, and I am very impressed with the improvement I have seen.  At first, I thought that they were making her worst, because we went thru a really bad spell with them where she was quite agitated for about a week and a half (she was pretty much tearing down the house!) Then all of a sudden, it stopped, and I could see results.  I don't know if her chemistry was changing a little, or what was going on...but she hasn't been throwing her uncontrollable tantrums since, her potty training has improved, as well as her reasoning if that makes sense.  I would give them a try at least-I'm really glad I did-I refused to put my daughter on medication at 4 years old.  I've been a customer of Melaleuca for the past 2 years, (strictly enjoying the products...I have severe allergies, and was looking for products to use in my home without chemicals, preservatives etc)  On top of the ADHD, my daughter also had asthma, which I'm happy to say is gone as well. 

Anyhow, the way I look at things is you won't know till you try right?  I gave my cousin quite a hard time when she approached me about Mela, (I am a big skeptic, and wanted no part of referring anybody!!!   I told her if I tried it one month, if I didn't like it, I'd be quitting, and to not expect me to tell anybody.  She agreed to lay off, and I became strictly a customer.   With the improvement I've seen in my daughter, and my improved health I'm so thankful that she did push!  If you have any other questions, or concerns, I'd be glad to answer any questions you may have .  My email is sberard11@shaw.ca.

It's so funny- I know alot of people who say that they don't like the monthly commitment thing, but honestly, it's never been an issue for me.  I have to buy all of those products on a monthly basis anyhow, so instead of going to Walmart, I just shop once or twice a month at Mela.  When I first joined Mela, I was on unemployment, and had a really tight budget.  My allergies were so bad, but I was willing to try Mela to see if it would make a difference, so I went thru my whole house and took stock of what I purchased on a monthly basis, and realized I bought way more than I thought I did.  For instance, we were buying 24.00 worth of laundry products, and with Mela I only spend 6.99.  It was a huge savings, and the Mela product has no phosphates or fillers in it, and is sold in concentrate.  The cleaning product is also sold in concentrate, and is 1.78 a bottle-one bottle of concentrate makes up 4 full size spray bottles.  It was a no brainer to me after doing my research, that I'd be saving money, wouldn't have to battle the crowds at Walmart anymore, and I'd see an improvement to my health- which I have in so many different ways.  It's funny, I never thought I'd be so passionate about being a customer someplace, but I just love the products, and after seeing the difference in my daughter, that has been the clincher for me- I will be a customer for life.  I really think that to see a large improvement in your health, you need to get rid of all the toxins in your home and make the switch.  If you really do make the switch, you won't have a problem with the monthly amount.  I'd be willing to bet that you spend way more than that now at Walmart, the pharmacy, costco etc...  Mela makes a little over 350 products now.  If you are unable to make an order one month, you have the option to pause your account for the month; you lose your advantage dollars, but you can pause for up to six months without having to pay the membership fee again. 

Sorry for the soap box-but I'm really thankful to that company for the improvement in my families health-especially my daughters...I have been so frustrated with her behavior, and devestated knowing how frustrating it will be for her to go to school next year, and possible having to repeat kindergarten, that I can seriously be so thankful to have found these supplements...I don't think you can put a price tag on that.
