Anybody knows this:
I was discussing with my doc switching from Adderall to ritalin longer release. I started with ritalin 2x5mg twice a day (total 20-25mg) and then went to Adderall 10MG (long release?) and now want to find a long lasting ritalin that lasts about 8 hours of so.
The doc gave me ritalin LA 20mg but the guy in the pharmacy told me that LA lasts 12 hours and ritalin SR is the one that lasts 8 hours. Can anyone advise ASAP - I'm afraid to take the 12 hour since I don't want it to work that long.
Also, if it was a mistake in prescription, can I return the unused bottle to my pharmacy? Never done this before, not sure if it is "allowed" - anyone any idea?
