adderall and natural supplementsWe're sure we noticed an improvement in his behaviour within the 2nd day, mind you, this is our own judgement rather than some formal test. He was more willing to sit down and work at writing and addition/subtraction, and was less anxious and "kvetchy" in general. It's nice to know that it has no side effects or long term effects (Additionally, overdosage is passed through the body in urine with no harm). In our case, we've found it to be very useful, but as we've seen with many other vitamins/supplements/foods, each child's situation tends to be very unique, and what works for some, doesn't work for others ("Your mileage may vary" :-). We're considering trying other vitamin supplements, but are first trying to boost his protein intake well above the FDA recommended levels for his age (i.e. 40-45g/day vs. 30-35g recommended). Have other readers tried this approach? I plan to consult with my doc tomorrow but was just curious if anyone here takes adderall (about 15mg day total) and adds a L-tyrosine or dl-phenylalanine supplement. And if so how much Any info would b greatly appreciated. thanks
