Scallywag…That makes sense, dad was 26 years in the Navy.
The rogue & Huck Finn make sense too; I have a little Huck Finn in me.
I’ll have to look up Gasoline Alley to see what’s up with that.
Thank you GlenW.

my 4th grade teacher used to call me SPACE CADET

what a bitch!

my daddy use to call me sugarplum...i miss him..
I never got a good one - in high school they called me "Grossberger" - after this giant fat man on the Richard Pryor/Gene Wilder jail movie of the time.  They saw once how it made me embarrassed and upset so it stuck with them.  Quite funny they thought.
did you forget about Mr.Banana?Keeko

Gracie.. because I was sooo accident prone.. I tripped over my own feet so much or walked into things.. sheesh I was really bad in high school!

Texas tornado -- lived in Florida, but was from Texas.. the tornado part.. ummm, guess it was ADD related.. don't know for sure.. it mightve just fit with Texas??

harvey Eugene.. my grandfather calls me that one.. he says I look like one

my screen name is actually my son's  nickname that was also given to  him by my grandfather.. "kibbles n bits" because he would sneak into the kitchen and eat the dog food!!  Visualize this toddler chewing on dog food with brown stuff drooling down his chin and making a face 'cause its yucky!!  He never learned.. kept going back for more! LOL
My dad called my SKEEZICKS. I don't know what it means.
My relitives called me MIKIE.

Skeeziks was a character in a WWII cartoon - Gasoline Alley.  I remember that because my dad and I found a ton of them in an old farmhouse wall.

It goes farther back - it's a colloquial american term to call someone a "scallywag - a rogue".  So it's like a bratty kid like a huckleberry finn I suppose.

Hope that clears an old question up!

Yes sheri - I DID forget.  Thanks that took the bite from Grossberger.  That one brought back nasty memories.  High School sucked.  This is much much better
Huck was ADHD.
So was Samual Adams.
Oh, that's a beer.
Mark Twain.
A riverboat gambler.
So was I.Some of my friends used to call me Hootie which I think relates to ADHD and a sort of blank look on my face.  I was teased in a loving sort of way by these friends so I did not mind so much.  Over the years I've other nicknames like Bug which were just cute and had nothing to do with ADHD. My dad called my SKEEZICKS. I don't know what it means.
My relitives called me MIKIE.
