I am a bit angry. My two female work colleagues just went to the pub for lunch and asked the guy sitting next to me, but not me! As everyone has gone out I have to cover the department, but they could of explained that they need me to cover!
I feel like they would prefer his company to mine! I do get on with everyone but I think I am on a different wavelength! I feel left out now!

Is it possible they are just trying to be fair....if someone has to cover the department maybe they felt it was your turn?????Sarah....I am soooooooooooooooooo sorry that happened to you....I am not sure what to say...but that things like that should not be done...and the action explains the level of contentiousness and lack of social graces....I love the Brittish term "bugger off" (I think that is it) anyway use it in you head when you see them next....LOL....chin up darling!

That's happened to me at work too. I think wordwoman is right maybe we need to be the ones to suggest things.
I've been told that I need to maximize relationships with my team members and leaders but everything I say or do seems to come out wrong. Recently diagnosed and started Adderall xr hoping it will help me be more part of the group and not say things before I think (which is what has isolated me at work)
Yeh I agree, maybe I should be the one to ask people if they want to go for lunch! But thats the problem,I dont want to. They all bore me. There are two who I like because they are crazy too but they are always so busy!
I just think people can be rude!
