Wellbutrin & children | ADHD Information

My 12 year old son just started taking Wellbutrin on Friday.  He's taking 100 mgs in the AM.  Next week he'll add 100 mgs at 4:00 pm.  Has anyone else's child taken this?  If so how did it work?  We've been trying for 3 years to find a medication that works.  Unfortunately we have had little succcess.

my 8 yr old son has been thru a few different meds since his diag. of anxiety and ADHD.

My son has been on WB for a little over one month now.  We use it in conjunction with Zoloft.

It takes about 30 days for WB to be effective that is why a lot of people don't like it.  It takes awhile to work.

I have just started seeing results on my son.  He is much more calm, can focus a bit more and still has a fun personality.

Even though WB is an antidepresant.  It for some reason works for ADHD also.

I will give it a try and stick it out for as long as you can 30-45 days  If it doesn't work, try something else.

My son was on ADDERXR-It worked great for about 1 year, then even with increasing the dosage it seem to loose it's effect.  So, we went the non-stimulant route with WB.  Good luck.

PS, I have seen no side effects as of yet.
