Hi Monkey. (it's kinda fun to say "Hi Monkey")
I'm pretty much a loner, too. I also cannot be shut up after a few drinks. I'm like Jekyll and Hyde.
Just started Adderall about 2 weeks ago and I do find myself a little more talkative. Nothing major, though. It's just that the intense inward concentration on my racing thoughts is less when I'm on the meds and its easier to focus on what someone else is saying. My husband did say today that he has noticed since I have been on the meds I have been nicer and friendlier. I can only go by what he says because I work out of my home and I'm alone most of the day, so I haven't really tested it out on any lengthy social encounters. But, so far so good. I am pretty happy with the Adderall so far. I hope it works well for you, too.
Hi! Yes, Adderall does seam to make me a little more chatty. Talking to people just comes a little more natural.
I'm not on Adderal but on methylphenidate.. I think that it would make a person more social... after all it wakes us up to the "real world" and helps us focus on others instead of our own inner thoughts and daydreams.
My boss actually revealed to me today that my coworkers have actually commented on how I am much more social and upbeat with them. Someone had actually said that I'm finally "coming out of my shell"
Interesting.. here I was thinking, "wow" people seem to be talking to me more this year. LOL

I'm on Adderall & my boss says I don't talk as impulsively as before. I think that means I talk less because I'm focused more on my work. I still talk a lot. Have always talked a lot, before and after Adderall. So my answer is ...... don't think so.
