Just diagnosed and put on wellbutrin | ADHD Information
sometimes used to treat
ADD. In one study, wellbutrin was found to be
almost, but not quite as effective as Ritalin in treating children with
ADHD.
Helps me, but I take a combination of Wellbutrin and Adderall.
Goof luck
Sorry, meant to type good luck. But in my case, maybe it is goof luck?? keep us posted
I just saw the psychiatrist for the first time today. Finally, after waiting since September and going thru my primary and a counselor first. I was finally diagnosed with ADHD. He put me on wellbutrin xl and I'm supposed to work up to 300mg/day. Does any one know how this works with ADHD? I'm already on lexapro 10mg. Has anyone gotten good results from wellbutrin? Bad results? I know everyone is different, but imagine someone with add that can't wait for the results themselves! Any feedback is greatly appreciated. scatteredabout38699.5900578704
Welbutrin does help me. It doesn't work as well on my focus as I would like but it does make a difference. It also helps with the depression and anxiety that I get from living with ADHD.
It isn't as widely touted for ADHD use as it once was, but it can help. A lot seems to be dependant on the individual and how it affects them. It is certainly worth trying. You will need to give it time to really know though, so don't stop taking it if you don't see a difference in a week.
One other thing, I didn't notice the difference in myself at first as it seemed to kick in gradually. It took a while for me to realize I wasn't as cloudy minded and making stupid mistakes as often. I went off it once and could tell then that it had helped me more than I realized.
