has anbody seen these anti drug commercials themed ABOVE THE INFLUENCE, i think they are fantastic.
I am 32 yrs old, which makes me a Reagan kid, hide under your desk for when Russians nuke us, Just say no, this is your brain on drugs etc,. constantly bombarded w/ prophecies of doom.
the ABOVE the INFlUENCE campaign is so positive,
i wonder if it would have kept the weed acid shrooms out of me in my teen & early 20s, which are just made for a really bad ADD salad.

In Church the scare tactics were there too..."you're damned to hell" if you do drugs..."your damned to hell if you have sex" ............I think it was their way to make sure that we were not like the kids of the 60s...I would say that we ended up worse...Gen X...are slackers....I grew up in Austin Texas and I think there was the first movie called slackers and it was about some "slackers" in Austin..and the whole culture of gen Xers....Maybe really we are the big boom of ADHDers...and not slackers...maybe we all have ADHD....I had it so bad in high school that I would get up and walk out of class and go drive off in my car...I couldn't sit still at all ever...I had 18 speeding tickets and had my license taken away....I sometimes am glad that I had it because all of my classmates were pumped on X or coke all the time and since I had a natural high I did not want to be sped up anymore so I would just say I did something and that is why I am acting like I am acting when in actuality I was just ADHD me.
