Strattera -vs-Adderall | ADHD Information

I am currently taking Adderall 20mg. I was reading online and a lot of peopel like strattera. Whats the difference. I have only been taking this for about a week. Also what I think I have is ADHD and I have thought forever it was depression. But I think its more really the ADHD but do any of the drugs also help with depression and help create a positive mood?

Another question is adderall supposed to give you energy when you take it. I feel like it gives me a boost of energy

One last thing here I am really a skeptic when it comes to taking this so if anyone has any good success stories about adhd and adderall I would really love to hear them.I was on
Straterra for 2 years with no real solutions for my
ADHD. I can look back and say it cleared my mind,
but I was still not functioning to my highest ability. It
made me sick often. It is a non-stimulant and a
non-controlled medication. I have been on Adderall
XL for 18 months with much improvement in my
functioning. It is a stimulant and is a controlled
substance. So this means I have to see my
psychiatrist once a month for the prescription
because it cannot be refilled. It has a risk of being
abused.
