Under Pressure | ADHD Information

Yep, do it all the time.  I get paid on production and pay periods end on the 15th and 30th  of the month - so you know I'm working my butt off on the 15th and the 30th, and on the 16th and the 1st I'm like "oh, I have time...I'll do some later..."  and so I end up working from like 6 a.m. to midnight on the 14th and 15th - I get it done but I swear every month I'll "never do this again" (yeah right)....this is actually the very reason I decided I would give Adderall a try.

But it is almost like I need to be in dire circumstances to get motivated at all.  Maybe the adrenaline is the stimulant needed to help focus?

Also if you don't mind Diffy I want to add to the question - Are the ADHDers out there morning people or night owls?

Yes-I have been given about two months to put together a project for work that is due on the 5th of Jan. I just started it yesterday afternoon! Hope I can pull it off!!! I just can't seem to get motivated until there is absolutly no time left for procrastination. For example, I'm supossed to be at work in 20 min and I'm still drinking my coffee in my bath robe typing this to you guys! Hurry hurry hurry!

I wonder why?  Maybe the adreneline rush of having to hurry and wondering and hoping if we can make it in time.

chjones made a reply to another topic that got me thinking.  I was curious to see how many others function better under last minute pressure?  I know that I can have days, weeks, or even months to do something and I put it off, forget about, ect.  But when it comes down to the wire I can get it done, get it done quickly, and get it done well.  Of course living your life like that sucks because you feel like you are always running around like a headless chicken.  But.........anyone else do that, and if so, do you think it has anything to do with ADHD.
