Here are some of its side-effects:
rapid heartbeat; fluttering or pounding heartbeat; dryness of mouth; elevation of blood pressure; restlessness; dizziness; sleeplessness; excessive sense of well-being; lack of coordination; anxiety and depression; tremor; headache; increase of muscular spasms (tics); diarrhea; constipation
Sounds like you have a few. It may last a few weeks until your body adjusts to the med. It may last even longer. Maybe give it a couple of weeks and see if these symptoms persist. If so, I'd ask for a different med. Best of luck.
Ya know if we read all the side effects we'd never try anything!
Maybe I'm one of the "lucky ones" Had no bad side effects from Strattera or Adderall. Adderall just helps me focus on my job better, doesn't keep me awake nor put me to sleep. My anxiety is actually better, but take Wellbutrin too. No bad side effects from it either. The funny thing is that I am extremely sensitive to over the counter medications, like for colds and allergies. Can't take them at all. Viva la difference!
I guess it "could" have been me. I was just diagnosed w/ADD Inattentive, what i would do for just a "little" hyperness. I am on Adderall, not the XR, and i can totally feel it when it is time for my next dose, i take my first at 5:30 A.M. and by 1:30 i can feel myself getting a little sleepy, which that has always been my sleepy time, but from what the doc told me that is also about the time i will "notice"my med is wearing off, so i take another around 1:30 or 2:00, by 5 or 6, if i get the chance to sit for a little bit, then i get tierd, if i get up, i am good to go, and fall asleep better then i ever have in my life around 10, 10:30. I love Adderall, and i notice i am more, smart i guess, meaning, i actually think better, anyway, this isnt my question or about me, but i do tend to babble alot while on my med!!! As far as any side affects, i have had the diarrhea off on and on just a little, (i have been on my med about 1 month), DRYNESS OF MOUTH is HUGE for me, i have learned to carry a little breathmont or jolly ranchers in my pocket at all times so if i cant get a drink, i can at least have that, it feels like i have a cotton ball in the back of my throat. I have a sense of well being too, how is that a side affect tho? i mean, isnt it because we are actually better and that is why we feel that way, or is it the drug??? Good luck!!

I have read that Adderall works really well for people with inattentive ADD but can make people with ADHD (hyperactive) more hyper and anxious. Not sure what you have but you might want to research it a little bit... or maybe your dose is just too high. Normally I take 10-15 mg of the regular Adderall (not XR) and I feel good and relaxed, but when I took a dose of 20 mg I felt anxious and jumpy.

that is a doctors & only doctors job
I mean, not sure if Snoopdog has ADHD or ADD inattentive...Or, maybe I should say, I don't know what the doctor diagnosed Snoopdog with, ADHD or ADD inattentive. I'm certainly not saying he should diagnose himself or ignore a doctor's advice. I just mean it doesn't hurt to read up on your diagnosis.
