My doctor also said he'd write prescriptions for the next three months without a doctor visit. I will have to contact him soon, because as I filled this one, the pharmacist said it can't be phoned in.....must be a written original...due to being the type of drug it is....controlled.
Glen, what do you mean about multiples for the pharmacy? Can you explain a little bit more?
I'm sorry! I forgot to say I'm happy for you Fryed. My husband says I'm much much nicer since being on Adderall
so it looks like when I go for my first month checkup I will be "replenishing" too.glad to hear it!! It's nice when the MD starts to write multiples for the pharmacy - for it usually means you are healthier and don't bother them as often LOL. I now have 15 Rx months in the pharmacy database. I still bother the doc - just that I did get the hint and make it only when necessary. I tend to have it under control as it sounds that you may have. Just keep a good eye on it.
Do try to get monthly therapy when you can!!
First "trial" month of Metadate CD 20 mg/day is over....the votes are in......Replenish!.......Doctor, and both my wife and myself are happy with the results.

I forgot my pill this morning for the first time.....she noticed the difference - so did I, I was driving to go for those last items today.......we agreed- the difference is noticeable.... chatty....hyper.....(I took the missed dose when we returned home).

LOL!! oh sorry !! ADHD shorthand I guess!
In Canada though you must get only one month of meds at a time - the pharmacy can keep "multiples" - extra months of the same med that can only be handed out one at a time. You must stay in one town at one pharmacy to do this I am to understand - but it is very handy once you find the right one. I have no idea how far it runs in the world but I wish it was this easy for everyone.
