Ampheta mood swings | ADHD Information

Hi I am new here.  I have been searching the web with little luck to find answers to my questions. 

I was perscribed Strattera at first, and took it for 6 weeks.  I can not afford it, so the doctor put me on Adderall.  The medication I recieved was the generic for Adderall, and is labeled Ampheta. 

I guess I have two questions.  1) Is it effective?  2)  I am generally laid back, but lately I am having severe mood swings.  Is this a normal side effect?

 Never heard of that. Mine says d amphetamine salts.

 That was the generic. Maybe your pharm has different names for it.

 It seems like your having adverse effects. Yes the moods are from the adderall.

 Is it normal? Well yes and no.

 Can you tolerate it?

  probably not.

 I would call my dr and let them know this is not acceptable to you if you don't like the effects. There are other medications out there to try.

 
 Please check my post on this thread for reduced meds.

 Dexedrine is close to adderall and is supposed to be smoother. And maybe cheaper.

 Call your dr and talk to them, they know you and your situation best.
