I've driven through Tx and really was not impressed, kind of like home in Cali. But, I've heard about all those fires in that region, yuk! In the winter of all things. Didn't you just have an ice storm?

yea it's me, Bob, countrygirl!

I had already forgotten about the ice storm. Yeah, 'bout a month ago? It was 85 degrees here today, in January. The saying goes "If ya don't like Texas weather, wait a minute." Texas in a way is like Cali. because they are both big and have 4 different ecosystems. So, either place, it depends on where ya go. Those fires are wracking havic here. Been very stressful here today. No rain in the 10 day forecast, pray that changes.

I stopped smoking in Oct. I told myself I am a non smoker. Any time I thought about a cig I would talk to myself, IE " I'M a non smoker, I'm so happy I don't smoke."
The fact that my routine totally changed at the same time I quit, probably helped.

I smoked for 15years and didnt really want to quit. Read the book which is only short and an very easy read too. I havnt had a cigarette for five months now and didnt get one craving!! Honest, the book really did make it that easy
