when is it to many med’s | ADHD Information

That makes me so mad at some of these docs that they will not admit when something side affect and keep them on it.  Take him off the Strattera.  He's having those side effects, dang it.  Sorry but I get so upset when they do this to a kid.

Trying my second son with ADHD on new meds again.You no how you have to play around.The pyhsco. said to try stratera.My son was on Adderal and clonadine.So we started the stratera with him still on the other meds.They say you have to whine them off the old while on the new.Well he was aperfact angel and doing wonderful in school.Now that is on just stratera he is the devil.Dr. said it's safe to just him back on every thing again.I'm worried.Seems like alot of med's.He is 11yr boy.don't want to kill him but don't want to kill him when he drives me crazy.What to do.Help any one.If he's worse on Straterra, why keep him on it? Straterra can cause moodswings and contrary behavior, especially in kids prone to mood disorders.All meds can have effects is the real truth. Natural also. To me if it doesn't help a lot it's not worth it. Only you can decide which is worth it or not. Nobody can tell you whether Strattera is safe or not.   As for how many are too many I guess each person must decide on their own.   You might ask the doctor if there are any studies on the effects of these three long term.

You can get on the internet and read up on the risks for each individual med.  I know you will make the best decision you can under the circumstances.
