Hey have any of you read this book You mean,I'm not Lazy, Stupid or Crazy!

It is fantastic. It focuses on Adults with ADD. I have learnt so much about myself and whilst reading it felt as though it were written for me.

It's available on Amazon for 8quid. To you lot thats about . BUY IT!!

Thanks LivingwithADD. I will def buy that too! bump upI bought You mean,I’m not Lazy, Stupid or Crazy today and after skimming through it for just a moment found it very AD/HD friendly.  I can't read books that are long chapters with small print.  It is orginized in short paragraphs with big bold titles and has tons of good info.  Great for someone like me who is recently diagnosed.  Can see already that it will help me understand more that I am actually not lazy, stupid or crazy!

I think this book is great too. By the way they are coming out with a updated version of it later this spring.

READ it?  It was my BIBLE all through middle and high school!

After I got married, I discovered, "Healing ADD" by Dr. Amen.  (not about actually "healing" add, but all about symptoms and brain scans and how to deal.  Bad title, in my opinion.)

i haven't read it but my dr had sugested i check it out, will have to now thanks

I'm not Lazy, Stupid or Crazy
Healing ADD by Dr. Amen
I’ve read both and they are enlightening.
One thing I find to be challenging about ADD is how unique each case is.
What I mean is each of us exhibit classic symptoms, but our life experiences with ADD (mostly bad) define the level of impact it has on our lives and on our thinking.
What happened to you is different than what happened to me. Therefore we have ADD type YOU and ADD type ME. What a trip, so everyone’s treatment is unique too.
That’s why this forum is so important; we need a support system as much as anything else.
That’s one of the things I got out of those books.

Hey Kaks. It's written by Kate Kelly and Peggy Ramundo. I love it! It is my bible to understanding myself, I carry it about with me as I am reading it at present. If I have a sh*t day at work (most days) and feel the world just doesn't get me (most days) then I read it and straight away get reminded I am not alone.

Maybe i will get that and leave it out for my hubby to find!! lol
