interactive metronome training

My 10 year old son was very recently diagnosed with ADHD, and I have been researching everything.  Has anyone tried interactive metronome training?  I know that there was a research study that showed it was effective, but I am curious to find out how long the effects last.  Do you need to keep going back? etc.

It's never been mentioned to me and my son is 15 and been on meds for years and neither of the 2 docs. in which we have had mentioned one word about it So I personally am at a loss for help to you sorry again and good luck scaredtodeath
