I came into this from the opposite direction, originally diagnosed as a mild BP2 about 3 years ago, and now am working on ADD symptoms.

I take 20mg Lexapro and 25mg Seroquel (for sleep).  I've recently started 3x10mg Ritalin and I am impressed so far.  Probably will increase my dose.

The med combo has really helped me get things together.

Mine was Absence seizures, Ld when I was DX as a kid. The meds I took where Depakote/ Melaril. I take neither now. Been free since age 19. I will never have a Normal EEG my Neurologist said.

My Mom's pregnancey was fine.Delivery Fine. I asked her about them both.

Her thoughts these 2 came from my Dads family. No one her side has hade these.

I use Luminex from Melaleuca it works on me well. They suggested that I had a Bi-polar diagnosis beside my AD/HD when I first got the diagnosis. But I fought against that so after trying a med called Lamictal which had side-efects I hated they gave it up. I have had depression for many years but never dianogsed.

Has anyone else been diagnosed with ADHD & other disorders like Bi-polar, depression, etc.

Orginially I was diagnosed with ADHD & general anxiety disorder now after a month of severe depression my Dr. thinks I also have a mood disorder. Which to me is Bi-polar. She is certain about the ADHD diagnosis. I know the 2 are very similar to each other. I was on Adderall but that seemed to increase my anxiety, now she wants to try me on Concerta 18mg, Amblify 2.5mg & increasing my Lexapro to 15mg/daily.

Anyone else on this kind of cocktail? Can you have both?

I, too, have been diagnosed as mostly ADHD with a touch of bi-polar.  I take 10 mg Lexapro, Adderall XR 20 and 25 mg seroquel at night.  The combination seems to work pretty well together.  The Lexapro relieves some depression and anxiety, the Adderall helps me focus, and the Seroquel helps me sleep at night.

If you are having trouble with anxiety from the Adderall, a low dose anti-depressant might help that.  I think Seroquel has some anxiety relieving qualities as well. It is a mood stabilizer.  I tried Concerta and it made me more edgy and anxious than Adderall.  But that's just me....I've read about others who felt just the opposite.  Try it and see.  Good Luck!
