Raising Your Spirited Child by Mary Sheedy Kurcinka

Parenting Children with ADHD by Vincent Monastra

Setting Limits with Your Strong-Willed Child by Robert MacKenzie

The Explosive Child by Ross Greene (don't be dissuaded by the title -- it really helps with parenting easily frustrated, highly inflexible children)

Positive Discipline by Jane Nelsen

Many are available in public libraries so you can test-drive them before making an investment.  HTH.

You can try Love and Logic. It is a great program for discipline that raises the self esteem of the child and saves the sanity of the parent.  It has really worked for me.  I think there might be a web site too.

I need to find out about books or anything about properly disciplining my dd.  And for me learning to .......I don't know, raise her better?  Not sure how to put it.  Things are a little better at home but I see old angers coming out a bit too.  Maybe somewhere I'm doing something wrong........... oh well......thanks.
