I am not new here but it's been awhile since i last posted I have a 8yr old son Zachary that's on Adderal 5mg and has been for 2 months an everything up to this point has been great until last week his Teacher said the old Behavior has started again he has Borderline ADHD and we have tried the time released and high doses but he didn't respond good to any of them. and the 5 mg was working great. I only give it to him on School days not weekends or Holidays that he is home with me. He is ok at home and i don't feel he needs its here. but i don't know what to do the Dr says he hasn't been on it long enough for him to already be addicted and he didn't want to up his meds from repeated attempts before that turned out no good. I just don't know what to do? I am still aguring with the school over his 504 plan but the school is taking their time.
