Should I stop using adderall? | ADHD Information

The last few weeks I've been feeling real weird, like not quite right. My mood has been shifting rapidly from good to bad to numb. Then today, I was talking to a friend who said something that I was sure was describing what I was doing at the time. I shut off the computer, lay down, and started freaking out. I was convinced that someone was spying on me and was trying to get them out of my head by repeatedly hitting it. This has happened to me before when I wasn't using adderall, just not in a long time. I became convinced that it had all started when I was in first grade and given a spinal tap, and that they had injected tiny robots into my spinal cord which were transmitting my thoughts and actions. I decided there was nothing for me to do but try to fall asleep, because if I did anything else they would know it. When I woke up I thought, what the hell was I thinking? If it was just really brief is it still psychosis? I know, or think it's wrong now. I mean I guess I can't prove it's not true. The thing is, adderall really helps me focus and I don't know what else can do that.

Did your Doc know that you had an episode like that when you were younger?  If not, I would make him or her aware of your history. And also what has recently happened. Stimulants can cause psycosis to those who are predisoposed to that.

It is very important that you talk to your Dr. ASAP. There are other classes of medications that might be beneficial to you or even a lower dose of your current that could still be helpful. Dont be afraid of a change...  no amount of focus is worth your mental health.

Adderall will make you feel like a zombie, ups and downs, and sometimes paranoid, that's all normal.  The illusions is something that needs to be addressed to your doctor. If you have a problem like that. When you take any amphetameen
they can seriously make it worse in some cases. If you dont want to give up the adderol then you shuld either take an anti-psychotic with it, risperadone,zyprexa,haladol,sarah-quill, e.t.c

or take some kind of relaxent with it so youre thought's are to calm to think that stuff. Like valium, xanax, colonopin,
tamazapam, larazapam,or youre docter will more redily prescribe like  colonodine, aterax, hydroxzine.

but either one of those will almost 90 percent take care of the problem.Just the relaxent's/Tranqulizer's will take care of the problem with less side-effect's,and a lot faster than the ant-psychotic's.
if you take a relaxant, wouldn't that negate the adderall?  i have had problems with anxiety and heard that all the stimulant type meds may exacerbate it.
