For some reason, I read that as Napalm, he 14th.

I wonder if anyone has ever named their dog Napalm?

Did anyone call the ASCPA?

I think I'm gonna get me dog just to name him Napalm.

Remember when you ran away, and I got on my knees

and begged you not to leave because I'd go berserk?

Well

You left me anyhow, and then the days got worse and worse

And now you see I've gone completely out of my mind

And

They're coming to take me away, Ha Ha

They're coming to take me away, Ho Ho He He Ha Ha

To the funny farm, where life is beautiful all the times

And I'll be happy to see those nice young men in their clean white coats

And they're coming to take me away

HaHahaha

You thought it was a joke and so you laughed, you laughed

when I had said losing you would make me flip my lid

Right?

You know you laughed, I heard you laugh

You laughed you laughed and laughed, and then you left

but now you know I'm utterly mad

And

They're coming to take me away, Ha Ha

They're coming to take me away, Ho Ho He He Ha Ha

To the happy home with trees and flowers

and chirping birds and basket weavers who sit

and smile and twiddle their thumbs and toes

and they're coming to take me away, Ha Ha!

I cooked your food, I cleaned your house

and this is how you pay be back

for all my kind unselfish loving deeds?

Huh?

Well you just wait, they'll find you yet

And when they do, they'll but you in the ASPCA you mangy mutt!

And

They're coming to take me away, Ha Ha

They're coming to take me away, Ho Ho He He Ha Ha

To the funny farm, where life is beautiful all the time

And I'll be happy to see those nice young men in their clean white coats

"They're Coming to Take Me Away Ha-Haa!" by Napoleon XIV

I highly recommend Dr. Demento's Anniversary CDs.  Tons of cool novelty songs.

OMG Reisa.  I had totally forgotten about that song.  Makes me think of another..

The girl behing the counter
Her eyes were full of tears
She stuck her head between her legs
And stayed that way for years.

Boom, Boom, ain't it great to be crazy
Boom, Boom  ain't it great to be nuts like us

Don't remember any more of it.   AREN"T you gLaD????
I've not heard of those songs. Im printing the lyrics out and sticking them on my fridge

Frank Zappa - one of the most creative (and arguably insane! LOL) songwriters of the 20th century.  We lost a good one when he fell to brain cancer.

I love that song too.  The beat gives a mental pic of an insane mind as it's tribal thump-thump gets manic and the song goes fast and phrenetic.

There's very few of his songs I don't like.

Hey, and why not?
I'm not trying to hide anything.
That's really my picture, too.
And my poEms.
And my woRds.
And my ADHD.
Except, once I got shot right through the first D, so it looked more like an O, until this Celtic Beauty of a combat nurse healed me.
I went from ADHD, to AOHD, back to ADHD.
Kind of her, eh?

Oh, BTW, I'm Bulletproof.

That's my nickname on the patrol.

I'm battle hardened from all the rejection and scarring that's taken place throughout my life as an ADHDer.

It's not that I care less a/b the danger, or the wounding, it's just that I know how to deal with it now.

And, I've a fantastic outlook on life, as a result of it.

God, I love my job...
