We're giving it a try. I've tried basically the same thing before only with poker chips and I don't think they lost chips for bad behavior. Can't remember that part?!? Anyway, tried charts etc. trying to get more cooperation and responsible from them ( a lot of things we've tried). I wasn't sure if the boys would be receptive to trying this. The last one we tried was a points system but I explained things to them last night and their attitude was very positive. Maybe its receiving the chips (they can see them) instead of points. They jumped right into action instead of whining and complaining, as I feared they would.
The real problem with any thing I've tried has been my following through and enforcing the program.

Where can I get a full explanation about the marble system? ANyone want to help??I have heard so much about it, but know much less. thanks
