Brand new here. Quickly, I am 41 was diagnosed with ADHD and "personality disorder". Ha, i wanted to kill something!! Anyway, my Dr. tried at least 8 or 9 different meds. on "the lab rat", (me). Lexapro was wonderful and has probably saved my life . However, he kept switching my ADD script because i hated every different thing he had me on. In the meantime, a friend gave me phenterminre and WALLA !!! My focus, patience, thinking were immediately A-ONE. I would actually amaze myself when responding to a ? I would give the answer that I usually thought of while laying in bed 6 hrs. later. When i was in former Doc's office he had a display for adderall. I asked for some and he said "i don't prescribe stimulants". What !!?? You have thse ad outside ..blah ... Question I see new Doc. in 3 hrs. I can't continue phentermine, Can I ? Do i lie and tell her I was on adderall or some other type meds before? Or do i lay it all out ? I have felt what it's like to be "nomal" and WILL NOT go back to my personal hell. Help?
