cold eyeballs UPDATE | ADHD Information

Not quite similar, but I get feelings of cold on my knees. I touch them, but they're warm. Like a  chill breeze is blowing on them. When not on meds, I never notice that effect.

As for my eyes, I've always been light sensitive, and always wear sunglasses winter or summer. Or spring or fall for ya'll that gots them. We don't. Wet and dry, here. I was walking through town once, and everything on me was warm and toasty except for my eyeballs, and they did feel like they were freezing. I was in Denver at 02:00 and it was -2 F.

I know that sounds so strange but its the only thing I can think of to describe it

WHen on my meds, I feel like my eyes are cold!  THere are times that light bothers me, and other times when my eyes feel uncomfortable when I read.  Anyone gone through this? Or am I just completely wierd?

This one is a new effect that has been going off and on the past month or so. I don't know if its med related, allergy related or what. I also don't know if I should go to my eye doctor first or to my general practitioner... I could be just getting old and my eyes are tired ... Most likely I need reading glasses - so, maybe its just a result of trying to read without glasses?? Geez this stuff is so confusing.

for sure get your eyes checked.  I'd say an optometrist is the best route as they can check out all the eye related troubles first.  There are so many.

Could be an indication of changes in the blood pressure I'm thinking.  The eye doc can check out this all for you.

I never noticed that when I was on meds.

Update:  I went and found out that my body is slightly dehydrated.

It seems that even though I am drinking what I thought to be tons of water, its not enough.. so he suggested that I also add some gatorade everyday.  I guess it was really dryness I was feeling but they really did feel cold.. guess it could be that tears would filter the cold winds in the AM and if a persons eyes are dry then he or she could feel the cold on thier eyes more readily.

Pressure and everything was normal.. Found out that I need bifocals though

Darn it!! Gettin old........
