ADHD moving tip:

Pack your clean laundry with the dishes instead of paper or whatever, and don't EVER put candles in there too if it is a hot summer.  :P

We will keep the trolls under control till you get back.  *Glen returns to find half a dozen trolls on their last legs.*

Don't get too confident - they haven't shut off my phone - yet.

and believe me it isn't going off for long.  As soon as I'm in the new place I'll be here looking over the aftermath of not chiding you for being a tad bit callous.  So behave if you don't want 200 lashes with a wet noodle ok?

I know you guys will do fine.  This is temporary and I'll be back as soon as it all fits.  Man I hope it fits! LOL!! I hate moving so much.

Just to let all my family here know I may be off here for about a week or so coming up.  I have a disconnect on my phone sometime between now and month's end and won't have it back until a few days into February.  I am changing internet providers and don't know when they are going to get to it.

So - if I am off keep the faith and know I'm thinking of all of you.  Try to play nice - and only hit the trolls below the hairline and above the ankles.

I'll be back as soon as I can.  Hopefully I'll be on through the weekend but if not I'll miss you all.

Oh no!  You are one of the best advisers on this board for adult ADHD questions. Who will fill your shoes???  We will miss you!  You can always find an intenet coffee shop to check in until you are all hooked up.  Happy moving - like packing and moving is fun???

Do they have libraries in Canada with internet? Try one, these people will go insane just listening to my advice!

 

Well repairman - our library here is like a one-room school it's puny.  But have no fear from the time I move in to when internet is on line will be most likely a day or two.  I just have to wait for one paycheck and a rebate our provincial government is supposed to send by tomorrow.  Then I'll have power paid for and my cable internet.  That way I have the 2 ingredients to talk to you guys!

If very lucky maybe no interruption but every time I think that way murphy comes out with the rulebook and says no friggin way.

Very soon - rest assured.  Just no bets on when.

Well phone line/internet is still up as of 5AM on the 30th.  Have no clue why a week ago was to be the disconnect.  I'm just glad for the little wonders of life LOL.

I'm still running around like a madman trying to clean out cupboards and closets.  I couldn't get an early in at the new place so I will have to move out within the window of about 8AM to 2PM on the 1st.  I have to work so it will be a rush to the finish.  I am still swinging back and forth on getting a one day leave but don't like the thought as I am working on less time off at work to improve my good name.  But I may have to this is going to be crazy!

So I am here.  I am getting my connection phone calls done and just feeling dizzy from it all.  But I'm still good!  Happy and smiling - so the meds are carrying me through this 100 percent!  Even with no ADHD I'd hate moving I can tell.

 It costs 45 a month, but I have a total of 4 pc's online.

SO 45 / 4 = .25 a month per computer. can't beat that with dial up.

I actually finished a whole humungus task list before deadline!! A first in Glen history!!

I got my power changed.  Check

I got my cable internet set up.  Checkeroonie

I got my new phone line set up.  Check check one two bloody three!!!!

So guys - here's the official scoop:

I'll maybe be here tomorrow - they've already limited long distance from my location at the old place.  The new cable internet line will be running on Feb 1st come rain snow or shine!! They confirmed before 1:00 PM Mountain time (that's 12:00 noon pacific 3:00 PM east coast) that the installer will place the high-speed line cable into my building.  It would be instant had it not been that they've never put internet into that building.  Lucky bloody me!!

But you guys will be chatting with me under the new account within 1 day or therabouts!!

I hate moving and hope the next time is to a nursing home, and I wont care if I have anything with me.

Well folks - I'm BACK!! On new cable account - just moved my email addy over.  In case I missed anything important like a pm or something just do it again now.

Well I'm off to finish off the last of the moving!! Time waits for noone!!

Don't know the exact speed but my DSL has been plenty fast as I don't game or d/l music or movies anymore since the meds.  Ho hum.

Hey guys - my phone lasted right through til the end!! Yay!! And now I'm at the old apartment trying to find excuses not to make the long trek for another load.  Sigh.

Oh well back to work!! The PC will be the last thing out and first thing set up there.  I'll start up here if I get it hooked up to cable before work.  Otherwise after 11PM mountain time tomorrow night!
