Started out good, then | ADHD Information

 When I went back to school yesterday with this big black boot on; a little girl looked at me shocked and said,  "Did you do that when you ran into the door?" 

I don't mean to laugh but it is somewhat of a funny story.  Those are the kind of days I have and often,  just when things go well the craziest things happen.

I hope you get some well need rest and back to work asap.

I am sure the kids thought you were great and were glad to see your ok.

Oh I'm sorry for you CG.

I fell of a horse a couple of years ago and had crutches for 3months and I know it awful, can't do anything.

But as someone said, take the opportunity and take care of yourself now.
Now's your chance :-D

Being pampered?  Something I have always desired to be!   Won't happen in this life tho.   Doing more art and writing more?  Sounds good.   Really, I'm p#ssed about my foot, because it hurts and it is slowing me down some.  But I will get used to this Frankenstein boot. Not the first time I have had to wear one.  The only bones I have ever broken have been in my feet.   3rd times charm?

Kaks - Playing "rodeo" after midnight was how I broke my foot the first time.  A friend of mine and I decided to switch horses while we were riding. (Not such a good idea). Ended up getting stepped on by a spooked 1500 lb horse.  Broke three toes and 2nd & 3rd metatarsals.

This is a fracture in the 5th metatarsal.  2nd time I've done this.  Other foot, different place.

Pieta, I posted pics of the Christmas Cruise I went on somewhere in the basement.  My pics are in there.  I'll look for it and  tell you where

I'm sorry about your bad day.  I hope your foot feels better soon.  We have a third grade teacher in our school.  She stepped on the ice a few months ago and slipped and fell. She shattered her knee cap!  She is doing better now, but is still stiff as she walks.  

Sometimes stuff happens whether we are ADD or not.

We are here for you!

Hey, I noticed you said you worked with Kinders. That's what I use to do before my son went to Independent study. I was the Title One Teaching assistent. I worked a lot of one on one with the kids. I worked with large groups also, just whatever the teacher wanted. I had a lot of fun working with them.

Oh, CG that's awful. You'll have to let yourself be pampered for a while until you're mended.

Take the time out to do some more of your art. I always say things happen for a reason, maybe you needed this to take some time for yourself??

I felt great this morning.  I realized I haven’t been depressed or sad but one time in 3 days!   At work, I usually pick up a Kindergarten student from the Special Ed room at one end of the building and take him back to his class at the other end of the building to work with him there.  Today, however, when I reached the Kindergarten classroom, I was like, what am I forgetting?  Yes, I forgot to bring the child with me to his classroom.   That was kinda funny, didn’t bother me much. Just went back to get him and SMACK right into the doorframe Dang! Made such a loud noise, everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at me.  I’m like “oops, missed the opening.”  Didn’t really hurt and I’m happy, so. started to get the child off the computer and noticed people looking at me again and I say “OMG! I’m singing Bootylicious.”   My boss was like, yes, I noticed.  Then she asked, “Did you take your medicine this morning?”  I say “yes, I think I did.  I am pretty sure. Did I?”   She says, “If you did, it must have been placebo.”  Uh oh, that’s not good.  After working in Kindergarten still feeling happy and energetic I decide to join the kid’s Mile Club and run with them.  I did.  But, stepped off a curb wrong or something and something in my foot snapped.  So, carted off to get x rays.  Crap, I really broke it.  Now I get to wear a lovely big black boot for 6 – 8 weeks.  It all started out so good, what happened?  Don’t feel so happy right now. 

 

Med question – Can I take Vicodin with Adderall?  What about with Ambian?

With ADHD sometime we just have "one of those days" here and there. Sometimes more here than there.    You know your at the right place where many can relate!

You can take Vicodin with Adderall but I don't know if I would take the Vicodin with Ambian.  I would ck. w/ your Doc.
