Sorry David but I have to admite that I most of the time don't get your msg either.
But on the other hand, I seems to have a sence of humor that noone else have so it might not be so suprising :-)

And for catching the punchline... Hardly ever happens but I'm very good at pretending to laugh :-)

Ahh, Kaks, an' All:
Not all my msgs are for All Y'all.
Some are site specific, others are species specific.
The one above happens to be for the Repairman species.
He'll understand it.

whew, that was a long post, repairmanenski.

Jah, nyet Kudos froms psyrinkilenko, butski appointed soonskit. Great signature, Sounds like something Jesus wants everyone to believe.  For star trek fans, ever watch the episode when data gets the emotion chip installed, still waiting for the punchline?    On another post I'z readin' bout AS and'literal literacy' and realised it's a trait associated with aspingers syndrome ADHD and schchophrenia. I also realised that 'double en'tendre jokes are the epitomy of wordplay used because I often have to think twice about what someone has said to understand what they want to convey! It's not always what I hear/read and is probably why I can understand most of davido's posts is he leaves dual impression on most of his comments, this being a most efficient way of transferring multiple feelings in a minimalist fashion, KUDOS.

I hate to say it, but thats the reason I like to memorize a lot of one liners.

I can remember how to tell the joke and hope someone laughs.

glen your a good funny story and joke teller, even if you don't get them.

I too tend to get lost in my funny stories and then foreget where I am.  but everyone always laughs because they know I can't tell a story without getting lost in it.  but when i listen to  joke sometimes I don't get it a laugh, or say out loud "I don't get it"  at times it can be frustrating, but what is even worse, is that I will think about the joke for days trying to figure it out.

I can sit and listen to someone tell a long joke and when it gets to the punchline I don't get it because I realise I lost my concentration half way through. Does anyone else find it hard to follow a funny story or a joke? x

Same here sarah.  Some longer-winded people (especially when they are drunk) tend to wander on and off - and others are finding it so funny.  I try to listen but others giggling and the long long pauses I end up with the teller saying "wait you have to hear this part" and it just ends up with me pretending to laugh.  Many think I don't have a sense of humor but I really do.

A lot of jokes I don't get as well because I end up with my mind making long chains of associations and not just "letting it be funny".  Racist, feminist, blond - if it's a joke that has other ramifications I can't just allow it to be a funny joke.  Many have called me a "party pooper" for sitting blank faced when a joke is told.  I just don't find it funny if it's at someone's expense.

nyet on phsrynquilenkos

except they give me Ritalenski

Hey, I scabbed a camera. Trying to figure out how to hook it up.
