Doc raised my dose | ADHD Information

I am sorry your tooth hurts.  I am glad it went well with your doc.

IMO, people who post about drug abuse and illegal use of ADHD meds are doing a great community service.  They give ticked off grumps an outlet for negative feelings and outright hostility.

 

Well i went in for my first med check after being diagnosed and the doc raised me from 20 mg twice a day of adderall, not the xr, to 30 mg twice a day. I was happy, but when i told him i wasnt "feeling" it like i did in the beginning, i was afaid he was going to think i was just trying to get drugs from him so i can speed around. Not the case. Speaking of, am i the only one who gets a little preterbed when i read posts here form people who admittingly dont have ADD or ADHD but are asking advice and questions about Adderall or a similar drug cuz they use it like speed to study or work? it really bugs me, if i had my way i wouldnt have ADD and i wouldnt have to take a pill for the rest of my life, even if it is to help me study for a test or somethin, why do they feel they can come here and ask , ugh, im just being a grump i spose, but does anyone else feel that way? They come here becasue they know they're doing something illegal and therefor cant ask a doctor so they ask someone here and hope for advice,, it pisses me off. Yeh, im a grump and my tooth hurts really really REALLY bad today,

Toothaches are the worst, I have several but thats cos Im petrified of thr dentist and refuse to go

And people that want medication for illegal reason are pretty quickly told they're not wanted here.

In all seriousness though, its far easier to get illegal drugs then to get your doc to perscribe the legal ones!!!
