ADHD / Anxiety / Mood Swings | ADHD Information

Hi,

I've been diagnosed with adhd for a while now, i started with concerta in the beginning up until 72 mg which didn't work. then i tried combining it with 2 10 mg retalin pill that don't have a long duration effect. which worked then, it gave me concentration and something i never had, i wanted to actually do some work. then after 3 weeks this effect stopped and couldn't get it back. so i decided to stop taking any medication for 2 weeks and then tried again. I got those effects back, but they now came together with Anxiety and High mood swings, from Happy to having a strong feeling in your stomach that you get when you think something is gonna happen and this  going back and forward every 5-10 minutes for about 4 hours (the  duration of the 10 mg retalin). i let this go on for about a month hoping it would stop, but it didn't, so i started taking an anti-depressant "Anafranil" which made the Anxiety / mood swing effects less strong but still strong enough to cause a disturbance in my motivation to do some work.

Now the reason why i'm posting here is, i got another appointment this friday and was wondering if anybody here had simular experiences and those who have what other medication did you take to prevent those "side effects"
