the weirdest part of it was that i'd had tons to drink all day...

i wonder if it could've had something to do with the fact that i hadn't taken any meds for a couple days.

my doc says if it happens again i'll get some tests run, but he didn't have any clues about a connection b/w the med and the color if the urine. i have had a darker shade of yellow before, but this was a tinge brown, maybe a little red.


No stinging, odor or increased ardor.

I wonder if its blood.

I was wondering if anyone taking adderall xr has experienced "cloudy urine."

The effect has been a noticable darkening (usually dark yellow shade, but occassionally orange), once or twice in the course of the day (often upon waking or at the end of the day).

I take 20mg in the morning and am healthy, active, and eat plenty.

Tonight I noticed a darker color than I have seen before, and I am a little worried.

Any thoughts? Anyone know what's going on here?

Sounds like its stimulating kidney activity.

Vitamin B does something similar.

Or else it could be a metabolite.

Any stinging upon urinification?

Abnormal odor?

Heightened ardor?

I noticed that with dexedrine - and found out that all it is is you are dehydrated.  Your urine darkens as you lose water in your system.  More uric acid means darker urine. 

Try to increase your water intake.  Avoid coffee/pop if it becomes very dark.  Our meds are diuretic in nature and after a while it could cause troubles like kidney stones or even other serious troubles.
