My ADHD son is about to turn 13. We are once again trying to get his meds right. He currently takes 20 mg Adderall XR w/ a half tab of tenex. Tenex was added about 3 weeks ago. Anyone who has had experience with Tenex can it cause icreased mood swings, because I am sure seeing some wild ones from my kiddo. He has taken clonidine in the past and we had good results, but he went off of it during last summer because it makes him tired and we just didn't add it back in when school started. He always wants to see how he can manage w/out all of the medication. So I let him go that route. I am kind of trailing off here. I was just hoping to get a little feedback from others who have tried either med Tenex or Clonidine and what are your thoughts?
