time to set boundaries with your kids. what is ok and what is not. do it for a 8- 10 yr old.
don't go ape and act like they are 16. keep it very controlled. that way you will have less problems later in life.
No I don't think he is interested in girls yet. I hope not until he's 13 or so. LOLMy 9 year old daughter has already been in love with a little boy for two years. They start young these days! Your poor son! Usually the girls get far more into this than the boys!
Oh it starts young these days, my now 12 year old has had girlfriends since he was five. Now most of the kids in his sixth grade class our dating each other, i am the mean mom as i told him he is way to young to start dating. Next year when he is in junior high we will talk about it, but until then it's on the back burner.
my son has had a girlfriend since kindergarten. I do not care for this or support it at home, but at least he tells me. He is in second grade now.
My dtr is in 4th grade and thinks boys are yucky. Go figure
The girl came back today and he has gone outside with her. They went to get a few more friends.I have 17 year old and 14 year old boys, and it appears that the girls are much more aggressive these days. They have had girls calling since they were in kindergarten! At least my 8 year old daughter seems to be a "late-bloomer." One of the girls in her class kissed a boy at recess, and she came home saying that the girl was "man-crazy."
