Milk helping ? Maybe warm milk before bed - L-Tryptophan is in milk products so that works for some.
It does sound like you are having a potential overload on your meds. Perhaps ask your doctor to try a slightly lower dose until you see how it works. Adderall has been known to cause jittery or anxious feelings if the dose is too high. Most times after a month or so it goes away so if you can deal with it and it's low enough in intensity then you'll be ok.
Anxiety is a part of ADHD to begin with. Are you doing anything that could increase anxiety - drinking lots of coffee/pop when you normally wouldn't? Or taking your meds on an empty stomach? Do think about the circumstances you feel most anxious and maybe you'll get a hint of why.
Anyways, I have ADHDH and its been treated for about 3 or more years. Iv taken stratera, ritalin, Focalin, concerta, and adderall (xr). For me only adderall XR works. latly when i take adderall i get a mild panic attack, so it makes me want to get it out of my system or for it to stop. If i drink milk of eat dairy products could it help??Thx guys... but the thing is the xr only lasts for about 5 hours for me and i dont have any side effcts at all as a matter of fact i went from eating 5 times a day to eating 8 times a day and still feelig so hungry like i can never get enough. The only side effect adderall XR has on me is the mild panic attack when i dont eat (i didnt start having em util i was prescribed to focalin). Other than that i wonder if its just alergies because i work at targer unloading the truck and there is alot of dust but once i get out in fresh air its stops and i feel fine.
