Patterns among things that help add | ADHD Information

I would agree with the three... the hardest one for me is to get the sleep... no matter how tired I am I cannot force myself to go to bed... seems like a waste of time.... anyone else feels this way? Then I wake up all tired and drink coffee throuhgout the day and yet won't go to bed on time the next day.. and so on... then end up taking 1 or 2 5mg ritalins on friday night just to keep awake..

anyone else struggling with this? how do you make yourself to go to sleep?

ok off to bed....

I've noticed a pattern about things that help add.  Energy!

1.  Coffee helps people
2.  Extra sleep helps people
3.  Exercising helps people(people that exercise say they have more energy)

question:does coffee raise your tolerance to adderall xr?

Heh, I have no problems with hyperactivity when exhausted.  In fact, it seems to get much worse when I'm utterly exhausted.  Then it's like my ADD gets free reign because I don't have enough energy to stop it.  I end up jumping around all over the place and shaking my leg so hard it looks like it's going to fall off.  And that's when the brain REALLY starts having free reign over my thoughts, and I feel like whatever has control of the remote control of my thoughts starts flipping through 5 times as quickly.

So yes, I prefer to try to sleep and remain as rested as possible so I don't get that exhausted.

Lets see

Coffee contains caffine, a stimulant, stimulants are used to treat ADD/ADHD. I can take Adderol and fall asleep, my wife tried Adderol and stayed awake for an entire weekend.

Exersize which I do daily helps take the edge off the HD in my ADHD. Its hard to be HD when you are exausted.

Sleep I can't comment on. I don't like it and try to get as little as possible.

I recon so..  Last I checkt, evrthin on yer list helps pert nere evr humun bein..

My advice, drink  coffee and exercise. Then you sleep like a baby. The hard part is sticking to the routine.

My biggest problem is remembering things and coffee helps me to get the energy to focus some more,

it gets a little better.
