Herbal Remedies | ADHD Information

My 9 1/2 year old son was diagnosed with ADHD three months ago.  We tried Concerta-it gave him ticks and insomnia.  We then tried Adderall-it made him depressed.  I am frustrated and have been researching herbal remedies online.  Has anyone tried them?  Do they work?
