I doubt the change is more than dye and filler - generic is the same active ingredients so I wouldn't worry too much on that part of it.
Perhaps your level of meds is now too low to work properly. After months on one level it happens with some that you need to up the amount. To avoid that you may want to try "med holidays" - about a week off for every 2 months on. It works believe me. I have been at the second lowest dosage for dexedrine for over a year and it still works great.
Also - are you getting regular therapy? If not you are only band-aiding the situation. You need to begin to learn new ways to do things that you never learned as a child. Coping skills so when you are anxious or worried you won't fall back on the ADHD way.
I have not written in a while, but decided to see if I could get some advice from others who may have had similar situations.
I have been on adderalll for several months and it has worked wonderfully with my ADD. Suddenly, I have started feeling frustration and irritation - feelings that had gone away have returned. The only change I can see is that when I had my prescription filled last time, the generic form changed. I even called the pharmacy back to see if it was the correct medication in the bottle, because the pill was different. I wonder if this particular generic brand is not working? or if Adderall is not working for me any more.
Any similar situations or advice? Thanks.
