how/what brought you to this board?? | ADHD Information
I've been on different forums and was looking for one where people speak in a language that is not way beyond me. I have my ups and downs with my ADD and also my daughter's and it's just good to talk to people who have been in my shoes, or shoe should I say . Neither my daughter nor I are medicated and are doing ok with coping skills. I am currently interested in Anti-Oxidents. I am an open-mind person and I welcome advice and support and if there is anything I can do to help out another shoeless person like me, I am very happy to. Dee I was looking for updated info, as I had been too busy/distracted/procrastinating for the last 3 years or so. I found this site, it is the most active with many interesting and helpful people. I stuck around because I feel at home here.
I was looking for info to after the doc diagnosed me. I love it, and had saved a bunch of other places with info etc. into my favorites, but this is the only one i have kept since. I can come in here and read, which is what i normally do and not post so much, or reply, but i get info weekly or more so, "justification" or "validation" that im not crazy, & im not the only one having these issues, specific issues. I love this place and all of you guys too!!

I was just looking for Info on ADHD in general and found this board.I stayed because it gives me a place where I can feel understood and learn from others experiances. This is the only board I have ever belonged to. I have looked into other boards, but they all seem to require your E-mail address. I don't give that out. Does anyone know of any other boards that don't require your E-mail?I was surfing looking for ADHD info. and stumbled onto this site. I posted pretty much solely on the Parents board for the first few months and now I rarely go there. The adult board and the basement are much funner!
I stay because I keep learning through the experience and knowledge of others. I feel supported and understood for the most part and I genuinely enjoy the people who hang out here too
