update on 30 mgs Focalin xl

My 16 year old son was on 20 mgs focalin xl for approximately 3 weeks.  It improved his mood and he was eating better but I did not see any improvement at school.  After 3 weeks the doctor increased the focalin to 30 mgs and so far it has been a big improvement.  He is still eating well and his attitude and ability to get his school work done has improved.  I don't have his grades yet but I can tell he is working more on assignments.  He also has mentioned getting praise from his teachers. (this has not happened in a long time)  He does not take his focalin on the weekends so he can eat more and I can see a big differnce in his hyperactivity increasing on these days. 

Has anyone else have any experience to share about focalin xl?
