Does anyone have experience with being treated for depression and ADD?
I am a 31yo male that has a chronic history of underachievement, I was on Adderall for a period of time as well as Xanax and I took myself off of them bc I had problems with substance abuse, then I entered into recovery and am currently being treated by a MD who worked at the Amen Clinic in CA.
I am currently taking Wellbutrin 300mg, Trileptal 300mg, and Lotrel (an antihypertensive).
I have experimented with taking Ritalin and found it made me much, much more clear, but very edgy and kinda nerotic. The difference was profound in how I was able to concentrate.
I am curious if anyone out there has any experience being on a stimulating drug for ADD as well as being on these meds.
I'm looking for your experience with these medications and whether they worked well for you.
