My son just started on 5 mg of Ritilan. He has been taking 40 mg of Strattera since December. I was a bit concerned adding the Ritilan. Well, it really helped! He had an amazing day at school, and I am so proud of him. He was so focused and was able to contril his impulsiveness. He received 3 U's in conduct last week, and his teacher had called me last week twice. Well, today he got an S+. I'm hoping this isn't just a fluke. He has had a tough time adjusting to first grade, and I'm hoping he is finally getting into the groove of things.
Thanks for reading :)
Thats great news!!!!!

That's great Meg!
Conner (boyfriend's youngest) just got his new Rx's from the doctor yesterday. He'll be on three different meds now . . . I just hope something works, because so far, only the Concerta seems to work.
Concerta: dose stays the same.
Ritalin: dose was 5mg but that was doing nothing; it's been upped to 10mg (to be taken right after school).
Strattera: I can't remember the exact dose, but it wasn't working. However, the doctor wants to try again (and take it in the evening, around 6pm-7pm) so that dose was upped as well.
Hopefully I'll have something to report in a few weeks with the Strattera and next week with the Ritalin (I won't have computer acces this weekend and won't see Conner until Friday).
that is great
