keep your keys in the keyhole of the inside of the front door, WHEN i think of doing that, i never lose them!!
You Go tl-c !!!Yeah! Congratulations on you dx
Knowing will help, but I still lose my keys every morning. After seven months of anti-anxiety meds, group therapy for depressed
women, and struggling in school, I finally got my official diagnosis:
ADHD Inattentive type. Duh.

I'll be starting Concerta tomorrow morning, 18mg with option to double.
I'll be registering with the university's LD/ADHD services as soon as I
receive my official report from the doc.

I'm feeling really optimistic b/c this semester has been hell. I've had to
humiliate myself in front of my professors by asking for extensions on
papers, which I absolutely dread doing. I'm about 8 books behind in my
readings; thank goodness I have a gift for bullsh*t. My checkbook
register is shot to hell and I have a feeling I'm broke. I'm paying a
monthly gym membership that I don't use. I'm sick and tired of losing my
keys, my cell phone, my lucky red Scripto pencil. I'm frustrated with
missing appointments, being late, breaking commitments. I'm absolutely
and completely so over feeling that I must be stupid because I can't get it
together like the nerds in my program.

BUT, I'm beginning my ADHD intervention (that's what I like to call it) and
I'm so GLAD that I found this bulletin board. I've learned so much,
especially the fact that I'm not crazy, lazy, and stupid. AND that we're a
funny, creative, passionate, witty, interesting, and *very cool* group of
people.

So, thanks. A bunch.

Great! ..  It's always good to know what you're dealing with! I hope the meds. help.

I highly recommend the book, "Driven To Distraction" by Hollowell and Ratey. It's very informative and a great reference.

Good luck with all!
