OregonI live in Iowa.  I'm west of the Mississippi, but only by about a mile!

The first two choices should be West or East of the Mississippi River.

TheDog38806.8154166667that's how I read it I've also been from

North of South.

South of North.

East of West.

And West of East.

Don't believe me?

North of the Rio Grande--West of the Mississippi--South of the Red!

Someone posted a great definition of insanity: doing the same thing repeatedly, expecting different results!

Here is another: insanity - continuing to do the same thing, over and over, KNOWING DAMN WELL WHAT THE RESULTS ARE ALWAYS GOING TO BE!

NJ here. Okay, laugh at me, but which side of the Mississippi is that.  Geography has never been my strength.  It bored me to tears in school, but now I wish I had learned it.  Someone pass me the compass please.  Dee Which side is Australia on?I lived near Philadelphia for some years, NJ is east of the MississippiThe DARK side from what I hear

<joking!>
Maryland (that's EAST of the Mississippi, lostmyshoe! ).

Ah! I am East of you...Ireland

I'm East of the Mississippi ( I still have to revert back to school days to spell Miss-iss-i-pp-i) In Pennsylvania (spell check helps too)I thought the Irish had all moved to America?

<kidding again>

I'm from my mother.

Battle Ground Washington in the winter, Donnelly Idaho in the summer. Eastern Kentucky, and I fit ALL the stereotypes.

Not really. The fact that I'm intelligent and have some dignity seperate me from a few of the people that live around me. Not all, but a few. It's really not as bad as you think.

And all the people that I meet fro mout of town assume I don't live here anyway, much less was born and raised.

I have much broader horizons that most of my peers. But I don't really seem them as peers anymore. I was never an X-men fan, but I feel like a mutant now. I definitely feel like I am different, a different species. Maybe better in a lot of ways, but still stuck abiding by the standards of a society I don't really care much for anyway. Ah, off on another ramble in the wrong post.
