Good job, Taffy! If we would be dissapointed if our kids didn't grow up to be succesfull or what we thought they should be (accomplish)
I have the biblical answer to that. This is quoted from Life on the Way.
Here With Me
Plumb
In my head I have dreams
I have visions of many things
When you’re a kid, you dream of being all kinds of things from a doctor to a firefighter to a singer or even the president of the United States.
There are some jobs that are naturally more glamorous than others; most of us just aren't cut out for them. But the Book of Romans gives us this encouragement: "God has given each of us the ability to do certain things well" (Romans 12:6, NLT).
Along with this comes the ability to be happy in our service. Maybe instead of saying, "God, I won't be happy unless I have this talent," choose instead to say, "God, what ability have you equipped me with for your glory?"
