NEUROLOGY TESTING | ADHD Information

I need a  neuropsych testing ? Who should I TALK TO ABOUT THAT HER PEDI?All Neurologists basically work with Neuropsychs for the testing that they (the Neurologists) dont' administer. We got one NeuroPsych through the Neurologist who saw my son, but he (ick) misdiagnosed him--or I should say he didn't have the whole picture. It was a start. As he got older, we knew more was going on so we called the local Autism Society and got the name of a great NeuroPsych. You can also call University Hospitals. They are on staff there. You need neuropsychological testing.  Ask your pediatrician for a referral.  If he/she doesn't know of any, check at your local children's or university hospital.  If you live in Boston (as I assume you do), Mass General has excellent resources.You can also check with your local CHADD group they have listings of professionals in the areaHOW DO I GO ABOUT GETTING THIS DONE FOR MY DAUGHTER.

What exactly do you want? Are you asking for neuropsych testing?...This involves cognitive testing, achievement testing, attention, behavior rating scales ect..

or do you want something more medical that would be conducted by a neurologist?
