Adderall and high blood pressure | ADHD Information

I'm 37 years old and was recently diagnosed with ADHD. My doctor put me on Strattera. I've taken it for about four months. Lately all it has done is make me tired. He's switching me to Adderall. He says he's a little concerned about it because it can cause high blood pressure. My blood pressure has always been normal. Am I putting my self at risk?
