Has anyone had success with natural remedies, besides medicine?

My son was given Ritalin and it had the opposite effect.  He talked non-stop for eight hours.

Ya, I am very interested in alternative I just had my nephew diagnosed with Adhd and the doctor recommended aderal?  Not really even sure how to say it, however I would prefer some kind of natural rout.
