Tell me to stop being on the computer all day wasting my time and go do some bloody housework!
Hey - I actually did all my washing after that! That is no small feat considering there are six grubs in this house!
Houseowrk is boring. I would much rather be here interacting,
sort of. This is my sanctuary where I leave my kids in the other
room and escape to find out why my 3rd daughter acts the way she does,
and that there are others dealing with the same thing.
This and my yahoo chat room save my sanity on sleepless nights. Since I never sleep this is my main nocturnal activity. Well this and trying to make my dogs wake up to play with me. Lazy dogs don't want to play at 3am can't understand why. I feel like a little kid. I wait all excited for them to wake up in the morning so I can play.WOuldnt it be great to have a surfer job....like on chat rooms and such people get paid to sit and observe the sites to make sure of context!!! i would love to have that jobOnce again, good one Rae! My butt would get sore. I'm supposted to be doing housework, but you know, one thing leads to another. Last night I went a surffin' and fell asleep with the light on for the 3rd night in a row. I need to log off right NOW, but I don't feel like it. It's to much fun!I think surfing the internet is a good occupation. That's all I do.

a reply, and it really works! For me anyway. At least once.
When you think "I really ought to get off the computer soon," then I suggest:
-- wiggle your toes (you can do that while typing)
-- then wiggle your legs
-- take a few deep breaths
-- swing your arms
-- then get up
Rea I have the same problem. And the fact I work on a computer most of the day, have about 4 of them set up around me and have a super fast connection, it can be a real problem. In fact I used to play this game called Everquest (It's an online game) OMG I would often play the game for 18 hours at a time. :-(
Not to mention more interesting web-sites like Pal-Talk. I often shut my computer off in a vain attempt to stay focused. :-)
It could be worse, you could have nothing to do but work.
I have the forum up all day at work... and it is hard to work when you are busy looking at the forum!!
I am trying to balance accounts today and i dont feel well so good luck trying to balance!!!
And once again I am hyper focussing on this forum and forgetting to go to bed. Good night from Australia 11:00pm
And Again I did it. It is 11.30 pm and I have been on the computer for 5 hours straight, this couldnt be healthy.
