I read an article where there was concern that activity and sweating increased the amount of the med that was delivered. They found this happened with other patches and questioned whether a child's playing or an adult exercising might result in too much med and then not enough later.
It wasn't more than a couple of weeks ago but you might want to ask the dr about it before you definitely decide.
If what you read is a concern they better make sure it is fully tested for most children are active.Is anyone else wanting to try this new patch coming out? My son has been on Ritalin and Clonidine for years now, he refuses to take any other kind of pill because the ritalin is a small pill. He still hates taking his pills and it still is a battle for me to get them in him daily. I'm just wondering who else is interested in this new patch and if anyone has any other info on it other than what I read about it and heard on the news. This sounds like it would be an answer to my daily battles with him but I want more info and research on it myself. I heard that it will be on the market this summer.
So anyone have any other info on the new patch? Thank you!
Over here in Australia i havent heard anything about the patches but they sound like a wonderful idea omg it would be so much easier and u wouldnt have to worry about others getting the medication or anything.
